While serving in the U.S. Navy in southern Spain, Kathi and I committed our lives to Jesus Christ. We were greatly impacted by that Christian community.  As the Jesus movement swept across the United States, we too were captured by the revival that marked that era.

We were caught up in the spirit of evangelism.  We studied and memorized the Scriptures. We enjoyed authentic relationships with the people in our social network, challenging each other to “love and good works”. We prayed enthusiastically, worshipped with exuberance and faced the challenges of life with a vibrant faith. The high water mark of personal revival had been etched in our lives forever.

As Pastors of Meridian Assembly it is now our privilege to pass it on to others. Our calling from God is to pastor Meridian Assembly, which we have done since 1992. Kathi and I have endeavored to create a passionate, evangelistic and spiritually encouraging environment. This is a new day, a new people, facing new challenges. I trust, as you are introduced to our ministry, you will recognize two life-changing facts, first, that the Bible is brimming with contemporary applications, and second, that God sends personal revival to everyone who truly wants it – regardless of the day in which we live.

I was born and raised in the Boise Valley and accepted Christ as my Savior when I was 5 years old.  At 15 I realized God was calling me into ministry.  I began preparing by being involved in my local church and attending Bible College.  During the years of military service my husband and I pursued God and His will for our lives, being involved in ministry whenever there was an opportunity to do so. After the military years I was Associate Pastor and ministered alongside my husband in churches in Idaho and Montana.  It has been a very rewarding journey.  After returning to Southern Idaho I joined the ministry team at Meridian Assembly in 2005.  I minister in Women's Ministries, Oasis 55+, Support Groups, Biblical Counseling, and the Church Visitation Team.  It is with great joy that I see people accept Christ into their lives and mature in their spiritual walk, making Jesus Lord of their lives.  I am blessed with 3 adult children and 10 grandchildren.  I enjoy reading, writing, photography, walking, and music.

Youth & Young Adult Pastor

My wife Cindy and I have been serving the Young Adults and Youth here at Meridian Assembly since May 2006.  We have served together in ministry to Young Adults and Youth for over 20 years, so you could say that God has put a real passion to invest our lives into serving students.  Our ministry is based on a student led philosophy, meaning, we believe in training up young men and women to serve God and start using the gifts, talents, and purposes that God has planted within their lives.  We are discipleship oriented in our approach helping our students deepen their walk with Christ so they can in turn reach their peers.  I truly love what God has placed in my heart to do with my life.  I love the opportunity that God has given me here at Meridian Assembly.  I love the place that God has planted us to serve and the Pastor we have the privilege to minister alongside.  Outside of ministry I love to spend time in the outdoors that surround us here.  Hunting, hiking, and working out are some of my personal interests and activities.  

While spending a summer in an African village, God called me into the ministry of working for him. After attending Christ for the Nations I began my ministry in my hometown of Wichita, Kansas nearly 20 years ago. I married my wife Debbie in 1998 and she joyfully serves beside me in the ministry. My wife Debbie and I have been part of Meridian Assembly since June of 2010.  I have a love for children and a passion for introducing them to Jesus and growing them in their spiritual walk.

My wife Debbie and I have 2 children. Our son Samuel was born in 2001 and already loves the Lord and is growing in his faith. Our daughter, Maci was born in 2004 in Guatemala and we were privileged to adopt her and make her a part of our family. In my free time I love to hunt, fish, camp and spend time in the outdoors.
